The image captures an outdoor winter scene at the Tierpark Escher Déierepark (Esch Animal Park) in the Gaalgebierg forest area of Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg. The foreground and ground level within the animal enclosure are covered in a substantial layer of snow.

A galvanized wire mesh fence, approximately 1.5 meters high, spans horizontally across the mid-ground, separating observers from the animals. Behind the fence, an adult male and a child are visible. The adult male, positioned on the right, wears a dark blue and tan segmented winter jacket, dark gloves, and a grey neck warmer. He is leaning slightly forward, extending his right hand, which holds a light-brown, rectangular food item, towards the fence. To his left, a child wearing a white knitted bobble hat with a dark band and a dark blue jacket is partially obscured by an animal in the foreground.

Within the enclosure, in front of the fence, a group of at least six mouflons (Ovis aries musimon) are clustered on the snow-covered ground. The central animal is a mature male mouflon, dark brown in color with prominent, curved, amber-colored horns, facing towards the right side of the frame. Its back shows a light dusting of snow. To its left, a smaller mouflon with less pronounced horns faces left. The remaining four mouflons are positioned closer to the fence, with their hindquarters visible as they face the human side, indicating their attention is on the offered food. Their fur is a lighter brown with some lighter patches on their undersides.

In the background, behind the fence and people, are numerous snow-dusted evergreen and leafless deciduous trees under an overcast sky. Bare, snow-covered tree branches extend into the top of the frame. The scene depicts an active feeding interaction between humans and the mouflons.
