The turtle's oval-shaped carapace displays a pattern of olive-green and yellow-green striations on its scutes, interspersed with areas of lighter white-grey discoloration. Its head is partially extended, revealing the characteristic red stripe behind each eye. The human hand, exhibiting light brown skin tone, cradles the turtle with fingers subtly visible around its lower shell. The immediate background consists of dry, packed earth or dirt, appearing light brown to greyish-brown with areas of darker soil and subtle texture.
