A prominent, segmented rhizome or thick aerial root, reddish-brown and approximately 40 centimeters in length, extends horizontally from a plant in the left pot. This root structure exhibits numerous distinct, raised nodes or scars. It curves downwards, passing over the rim of a second black plastic pot on the right, and continues along the concrete. A single, pale green, somewhat curled leaf with perforations emerges from the distal end of this root via a thin petiole. The plant in the left pot features multiple long, variegated leaves with green centers and white or cream margins. The right pot contains soil, from which a large, dark green leaf with a radiating vein pattern and several circular holes is visible, along with small green sprouts. The concrete surface shows patches of green moss or algae. No individuals are present.
