An exterior entrance in the city of Fez, Morocco, depicts a narrow pathway leading to a double-leaf entry door. The pathway features a terrazzo-style pavement composed of irregularly shaped, multi-colored stone fragments (black, grey, brown, and beige) embedded in a lighter, speckled concrete matrix. White-painted walls flank the pathway, with the wall on the viewer's right exhibiting multiple areas of peeling paint that expose a yellowish layer underneath. Along the top of these walls, white-painted metal fences are installed, characterized by a decorative pattern of linked circles at the base and vertical pickets with pointed tops. The main entrance consists of a white-framed double door with glass panels protected by intricate black wrought iron scrollwork. Directly above the door, a numeric sign displaying "3" is affixed. A light-colored, textured concrete overhang extends above the door and pathway, from which a metal lantern-style light fixture is suspended. A visible crack runs along the underside of this concrete structure above the doorframe. Sparse green foliage is visible near the top of the right-hand fence. No individuals, animals, or other subjects are present. The scene is illuminated by natural daylight.
