A rectangular, vertically oriented painting on a worn board is situated on a dense, dark green, moss-covered surface. The painting, located in Voa Yeav, Cambodia, depicts a bird with an open beak, facing upwards and to the right, perched on a thick, horizontal branch. The bird has a dark brown head with a white patch below the eye, a white chest with dark brown spots, and dark brown wings with white markings. Its legs are pink. Above the bird's open beak, a black, eight-legged spider hangs from a single strand, connected to a light-colored spiderweb visible in the upper right corner of the blue background. The blue background occupies the upper right portion of the painting. The lower left and central background feature green foliage and a hint of blue, possibly water or sky, framed by an irregular brown border. Faint, light-colored letters, including "AM" and "ou", are inscribed on the blue section of the painting to the right of the bird. The painting's edges are rough and show signs of wear.
