The plaque is located on the interior wall of the Catedral de Santiago in Bilbao, Spain, located at latitude 43.257 and longitude -2.924. The plaque's text in Spanish reads, "D.O.M. Esta santa iglesia catedral basilica fue consagrada por el excmo. y rvmo. sr. D. Casimiro Morcillo primer obispo de Bilbao el dia xxx de diciembre de mcmlv". This translates to "D.O.M. This holy church cathedral basilica was consecrated by the most excellent and reverend sir D. Casimiro Morcillo, first bishop of Bilbao, on the xxx day of December of 1955." The plaque has two small square metal plates on the top left and bottom right corners. The stone blocks behind the plaque are worn and uneven.
