Stake attention in this memory
This is a photograph taken from the bottom of the Funicolare San Vigilio in Bergamo, Italy, looking upwards towards the tunnel entrance and the upper part of the funicular line. The funicular tracks are clearly visible in the foreground, with a series of interlocking metal bars forming a cogged system beneath one of the tracks. The walls on either side of the tracks are densely covered in green ivy. Two curved lampposts are mounted on the left wall, and a third is visible further up the track. Overhead, a concrete archway supports a walking path or bridge, also covered in ivy, with some pink flowers visible along its railing. Beyond the archway, the funicular line enters a tunnel, with more tracks disappearing into the darkness. The lighting suggests it is daytime, with sunlight casting shadows on the ivy-covered walls. The scene is entirely devoid of people.
