A white marble statue of Guanyin (Quan Am) is prominently displayed within a landscaped garden at Linh Son Pagoda, Da Lat, Vietnam
A white marble statue of Guanyin (Quan Am) is prominently displayed within a landscaped garden at Linh Son Pagoda, Da Lat, Vietnam. The statue depicts the deity in a seated posture, with one leg raised and the other foot resting on the base, adorned with intricate robes and a tall headpiece. A stylized dragon or flame motif forms an ornate backing behind the figure. This statue rests on a multi-tiered pedestal constructed from large, dark, irregularly shaped boulders. Surrounding the rock base are various potted plants, including ferns, broad-leafed greens, and some with dark purple foliage. The ground in the immediate foreground consists of a border of small, light-colored river stones and an irregular pathway made of flat, tan flagstones. Directly behind and above the statue stands a large, multi-trunked tree with green and some autumnal leaves, its branches extending upwards and outwards. In the mid-ground, a white balustrade with light blue decorative elements runs horizontally, separating the garden area from additional dense greenery and distant forested hills. Pine trees are visible on both the left and right sides of the background. The sky is overcast with varying shades of grey clouds. No people are present in the scene.
