A street-level view in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain, depicts the facade of the Biblioteca Pública del Estado "Manuel Padorno" (formerly Biblioteca y Museo) at Calle de la Noria, number 12
A street-level view in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain, depicts the facade of the Biblioteca Pública del Estado "Manuel Padorno" (formerly Biblioteca y Museo) at Calle de la Noria, number 12. The building features a light beige facade with grey stone neoclassical elements, including four prominent fluted columns flanking a central window and an oculus above. Three flags are displayed from poles above the main entrance: the flag of Ukraine (blue and yellow), the flag of Spain (red and yellow with coat of arms), and a white flag with a coat of arms (likely Tenerife or Santa Cruz de Tenerife). White string lights are draped along the cornice above the columns. The entrance consists of large, ornate wooden double doors with geometric patterns. Above the doors, "BIBLIOTECA Y MUSEO" is carved into the stone lintel. To the left of the doors, the number "12" is affixed to the wall. Two potted plants with red poinsettias are positioned on either side of the entrance. Barred windows are visible on the ground floor to the right. The foreground features a grey paved sidewalk transitioning to a cobblestone street. Two women are walking on the sidewalk in front of the library. The woman on the left, an elderly individual wearing a dark cap, dark jacket, and dark pants, uses a black cane held in her left hand. She gazes forward. The woman on the right, younger and wearing a light-colored tunic over dark pants, carries a white plastic shopping bag with a green logo in her left hand, looking towards the older woman. To the right of the library, an older, narrower building with a light yellow stucco facade and a dark wooden enclosed balcony extends along the street. Further down the cobblestone street, two male figures are partially visible walking away from the camera. A large tree with dark foliage partially obscures the upper right portion of the image. A grey street bin is visible on the sidewalk further down. The sky is overcast.
