A spotted feline, identified as a leopard or jaguar, is depicted resting within a wire mesh enclosure at the Stara Zagora Zoo in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria. The animal, with prominent black rosettes against a tan and white coat, is lying on a ground composed of light brown wood chips or dried foliage, oriented to the left side of the frame. Its head is visible, facing left, with its body extending towards the right. A substantial portion of the scene, including the animal, is obscured by the foreground's crisscrossing light grey metal cage bars, which form a diamond-grid pattern. An elevated, flat, light-colored platform, possibly concrete or wood, is visible in the upper background of the enclosure.
