The image depicts a section of asphalt road entering a natural rock-cut passage or tunnel in a mountainous area near Plužine, Montenegro. The two-lane road, appearing recently paved with a dark, smooth surface, curves rightward as it leads directly into the dark, unlit opening of the passage. To the left of the road, a gravel shoulder is visible, containing sparse, dry vegetation. The passage itself is formed within a large, imposing rock face, characterized by layered grey, tan, and beige rock formations with visible geological fractures and textures. Sunlight illuminates the exterior rock face and casts strong shadows on the road and into the tunnel's entrance. The top of the rock formation, visible against a clear blue sky, features scattered evergreen shrubs and deciduous trees with bare branches. No individuals, vehicles, or active interactions are present in the scene. Faint, light-colored markings are discernible on the left rock wall inside the initial section of the tunnel entrance.
