Royal Scots
This is a display about The Royal Scots (The Royal Regiment), which was once known as the Royal Regiment of Foot. It was the oldest and most senior infantry regiment of the line in the British Army, having been raised in 1633. The regiment existed until 2006, when it amalgamated with the King's Own Scottish Borderers to become the Royal Scots Borderers, 1st Battalion of the newly formed Royal Regiment of Scotland.
