The image displays a scene of extensive urban destruction in Khan Yunis, Palestinian Territory. In the immediate foreground on the lower right, rusted metal bars and wires, possibly from a damaged railing, are visible and partially obscure the view. A two-lane paved road, covered in dust and debris, traverses the mid-ground. Faint white road markings are discernible, and strong shadows indicate direct sunlight. To the left of the road, a multi-story building, appearing to be an apartment block, exhibits severe damage to its upper floors, where walls are missing, and internal concrete and rebar are exposed. The lower floors feature balconies that appear structurally more intact. Further down the road on the right, a maroon sedan is parked or stationary, with another lighter-colored vehicle partially visible behind it. Two to three pedestrians are seen walking away from the viewer on the right side of the street. Dominating the central background is a heavily damaged mosque.
