The sandy beach extends from the foreground into the distance, bordered by the ocean on the right and a dense line of dark green foliage, consistent with trees, along the left coastline. The wet sand near the waterline reflects the vibrant sky colors. Gentle waves are breaking on the shore, creating a white foam line. Distant, indistinct structures, possibly oil rigs or buildings, are visible on the horizon over the water. Two thin wooden poles are planted in the shallow water or wet sand in the midground. Five individuals are visible on the beach. In the immediate foreground, to the right, a person in a dark shirt and pants is crouched low at the waterline, appearing to interact with the sand or water. Their reflection is clear on the wet surface.
