A bronze bas-relief plaque is mounted on a light-colored, textured concrete wall. The plaque depicts a bust of a man with a mustache and a serious expression, wearing a jacket over a turtleneck. He is positioned against an artist's palette with three paintbrushes in the upper right portion. Above the man's head, text in Cyrillic reads "ЗАСЛУЖАНЫ ДЗЕЯЧ КУЛЬТУРЫ БССР, ВЯДОМЫ МАСТАК - ПАРТРЭТЫСТ" (Honored Figure of Culture of BSSR, Famous Artist - Portraitist). Below the bust, more Cyrillic text identifies the individual as "ФЯПСАУ ІВАН ЯКАЎЛЕВІЧ" (Fiappsau Ivan Yakaulevich) and states that he "ЖЫЎ У ГЭТЫМ ДОМЕ З 1959 ПА 1994 Г." (Lived in this house from 1959 to 1994). This memorial plaque is located at vul. K. Marksa, 17, in Brest, Belarus. The wall shows signs of aging with visible cracks and some discoloration.
