The water surface in the channel exhibits ripples and minor foam. Accumulations of dry branches and other debris are present at the waterline within the channel, immediately preceding the tunnel opening. The left side of the scene features a vertical concrete retaining wall partially merging with dark, moss-covered natural rock formations at its lower section.
