Five starfish, identified as Protoreaster nodosus (Chocolate Chip Sea Stars) due to their distinctive knobby, reddish-brown and dark coloration, are distributed across the sandy bottom. One starfish is in the upper right, two are centrally positioned, one in the lower left, and one in the lower right. Sunlight creates undulating patterns of light and shadow on the seabed, visible through the water's surface ripples. Small fragments of dark and green organic debris are scattered on the sand.
