Stake attention in this memory
This is a ceramic tile mural depicting a religious scene with figures in the sky and on the ground, framed by ornate rococo-style plasterwork. The central figures in the sky are a winged female figure holding a child, possibly the Virgin Mary and Child, surrounded by cherubs and other winged figures. Below them, a man in regal attire with a crown and a flowing cape is shown looking upwards with his arms outstretched, seated on what appears to be a wheeled contraption. To the right, several figures are seated on clouds, including one holding a sword. In the lower portion of the mural, there is a landscape with a small castle, a dragon-like creature, and lush vegetation. The bottom of the mural includes a tiled border with decorative elements and an inscription that reads "S. VIRGO. VIR. CINVM." The style of the tile work and plasterwork suggests it is from the Baroque or Rococo period. The mural is located in the Sacristy of the Church of São Julião in Setúbal, Portugal.
