In the city of Mindat, Myanmar, a close-up image displays a vibrant *Tradescantia zebrina* plant amidst other foliage. The central subject is a cluster of variegated leaves, exhibiting prominent longitudinal stripes of deep purple and silvery-green. These ovate-lanceolate leaves culminate in pointed apices. A small, dark-colored insect, possibly an ant, is visible on one of the upper-left striped leaves. Surrounding the central plant are several larger, solid green, broadly ovate leaves with visible venation, originating from an adjacent plant, overlapping from the top and left. A senescent, elongated, yellow leaf or stem with minor brown discoloration runs vertically along the right side of the frame. The background shows blurred green and faintly striped foliage, indicating dense plant growth. No human subjects or artificial objects are present.
