The water exhibits a muted blue-grey coloration with small waves and surface ripples, particularly at the bottom edge where a minor wave is breaking. A minimum of three male Mallard ducks are present, identifiable by their green heads, brown chests, and grey plumage. One Mallard swims individually in the upper-mid section of the frame. The foreground contains two Mallard ducks interspersed within a cluster of approximately 8-10 uniformly dark-bodied Eurasian Coots. Additional indistinct dark avian forms are visible at greater distances towards the horizon. All birds are observed floating and swimming on the water.
