UnknownUnknown

The image depicts the Arco della Pace (Arch of Peace) in Milan, Italy. The large neoclassical triumphal arch is constructed of light-colored stone, featuring three main arches, fluted Corinthian columns, and extensive relief sculptures. The summit is adorned with a prominent bronze equestrian sculpture group, "Sestiga della Pace," depicting six horses pulling a chariot, flanked by mounted figures. Inscriptions are visible below the summit sculptures. The interior of the archways is illuminated with a warm orange light, contrasting with the pale blue-grey sky of an overcast day or twilight. In the foreground, a paved plaza area contains several green and teal-blue temporary crowd control barriers, each displaying "MILANO CORTINA 2026" text and a graphic logo. Multiple black stage lights or spotlights are positioned on the ground near these barriers. Through the central archway, a large, intricate, spherical light fixture, composed of numerous illuminated elements, is suspended and emits a warm glow. This fixture is supported by a temporary metal scaffolding structure. In the background, beyond the arch, urban buildings, bare trees, and streetlights are visible. A tall, slender skyscraper is discernible in the distant left background. No people are visible in the scene.
