The scene is dominated by numerous small, star-shaped green plants, consistent with liverworts of the genus *Marchantia*. These plants feature light green, multi-lobed thalli. Many are elevated on slender, dark stalks, varying in height up to approximately 3 centimeters, while others are situated closer to the substrate. Some of these plant structures exhibit brownish-yellow coloration, particularly at their centers or edges. Scattered within the plant mass are a few larger, darker green leaf fragments and strands of brown organic detritus. A thin, dried twig diagonally traverses the lower right portion of the frame.
