KajolaNigeria

The image depicts an excavated site in Kajola, Nigeria, characterized by steep, multi-layered rock and dirt walls. The ground surface is uneven, consisting of loose soil, various sizes of rocks, and several shallow pools of standing water and muddy areas. A long, orange, flexible fabric hose or pipe is visible, draped over a rock ledge on the left side of the excavation, extending downwards and then running horizontally across the muddy ground and through the standing water towards the right out of frame. Two adult males are present in the middle ground; one man, wearing a light blue t-shirt and dark trousers, stands facing slightly right in a shallow water puddle. The second man, partially obscured behind the first and to the left, wears a light brown shirt and is also standing in a wet area. Sparse green vegetation, possibly small trees or shrubs, grows on the upper rim of the excavation against a light, overcast sky. A small pile of light-colored gravel is visible on the ground in the lower-left foreground.
