An active outdoor fireplace is depicted in Panichishte, Bulgaria, viewed from a slightly low angle

PanichishteBulgaria

An active outdoor fireplace is depicted in Panichishte, Bulgaria, viewed from a slightly low angle. The fireplace itself is a rectangular opening framed by dark metal, possibly cast iron or steel, and contains a fire with visible orange and yellow flames emanating from several pieces of light-colored wood arranged in a loose teepee configuration. Red embers are present beneath the burning wood. The interior back and sides of the firebox appear dark and sooty. The metallic frame includes a visible hinge mechanism on the right side and a small, keyhole-shaped opening on the left side. This firebox is integrated into a wall constructed from light brown and tan irregular stone tiles, stacked horizontally. Below this main stone course, a darker, rougher course of stone blocks is visible at the base of the wall. The ground in the foreground consists of light grey, square or rectangular patio tiles with visible grout lines, indicating a paved surface. No individuals or specific actions are discernible within the frame.
