A detailed fresco covers a vaulted ceiling section within the Armenian Catholic Church of Saints Peter and Paul in Chernivtsi, Ukraine. The scene is divided into upper and lower narrative sections, framed by ornate decorative borders.

The upper section depicts a radiant golden Latin cross, from which bright rays emanate, set against golden-hued and light blue clouds. Seven winged angelic figures are visible among these clouds, with two prominent angels, one in a green tunic and another in a blue, appearing to support or present the cross.

Below this heavenly scene, a terrestrial landscape unfolds with dark, craggy mountains and sparse green foliage on the left, transitioning to lighter mountains and a pale sky on the right. A group of approximately eight robed figures gathers in the lower-center. On the far left, a figure holds a white lamb, and a horned bovine is visible behind the group. A seated figure in a red robe is on the right of the group, and another appears to hold a scroll or book.

The main fresco is bordered by several decorative bands. Immediately surrounding the central artwork are narrow light green bands featuring repeating white stylized starbursts, where significant cracking is visible. Above the upper starburst band, a wider decorative frieze displays an alternating pattern of stylized four-petaled flowers (in pink, yellow, and red) and purple scrollwork on a light yellow background.

Below the lower starburst band, an arched ceiling section contains a smaller fresco. This lower fresco depicts a golden Latin cross emitting light, flanked by two kneeling angels with pink/purple wings, surrounded by wavy blue patterns and floral motifs. On the grey-green border directly above this lower arch, circular motifs contain a Chi-Rho symbol on the right and a Sacred Heart symbol on the left.

A thin, golden-colored metal rod extends vertically downwards from the ceiling's apex, passing through both the upper and terrestrial fresco sections, indicating a functional fixture, such as for a chandelier.
