The scene depicts a dense undergrowth on a forest floor in Baglung, Nepal. A central, bright green plant, consistent with a fern species, displays multiple elongated, finely ribbed fronds radiating outwards. Surrounding this plant are larger, darker green, ovate leaves, some exhibiting irregular perforations indicative of insect damage. The ground is covered with a variety of smaller, compact green foliage, and interspersed throughout are scattered pieces of brown, decaying plant matter, including what appears to be bamboo leaf fragments. All visible vegetation surfaces appear wet or glossy, suggesting recent rainfall or high humidity. No human subjects or man-made objects are present. A small, pale, possibly insect or water droplet, is visible on one of the larger damaged leaves in the upper-right quadrant, and a minute yellowish-green object is present on one of the central fern fronds.
