The image displays the front facade of the Église Saint-Paul, located on Quai Mullenheim in Strasbourg, France
The image displays the front facade of the Église Saint-Paul, located on Quai Mullenheim in Strasbourg, France. The massive structure is constructed from reddish-brown sandstone blocks, exhibiting a Neo-Gothic/Romanesque Revival architectural style. The perspective is low-angle, looking upwards, with bare deciduous tree branches partially obscuring the upper portions of the building against a blue sky with scattered white, wispy clouds. The facade features a prominent central square tower culminating in a tall, pointed spire. On either side of the central tower, at an intermediate level, are large circular rose windows with intricate stone tracery. Below these, multiple rows of tall, narrow arched windows with clear or lightly obscured glass are visible. At ground level, three deeply recessed arched entranceways provide access, each secured by dark, ornate metal gates. The central entrance is wider and more elaborately framed with columns and carved stonework. A rectangular white banner with French text is affixed to the church wall on the far left, partially legible as "Vivre Saint...". On the far right, a vertical red banner with white French text, including "Le culte," is visible. No individuals or discernible actions are present within the frame.
