In Na Sang, Laos, a dark, densely textured spherical object, resembling a large hair bun or wig composed of black fibers, is displayed within a woven basket. The object is elaborately adorned with two distinct patterns of light yellow fabric flowers. The upper portion features numerous tightly packed, bulbous flowers, each with a short green fabric stem, forming a voluminous garland that cascades over the top. Below this, across the surface of the dark sphere, smaller, flatter, four-petal-like fabric flowers are arranged in a lattice pattern, connected by thin, light-colored threads or delicate fabric stems, some showing frayed ends. The spherical item rests on and against the coarse, interwoven strands of a light brown, reddish-brown, and dark brown natural fiber basket or container, visible along the bottom and left periphery. A partial red label with indistinct text is faintly visible beneath the basket's edge on the lower left.
