DunfermlineUnited Kingdom

The image displays a street scene on Abbot Street in Dunfermline, United Kingdom, looking northeast towards High Street and the Dunfermline City Chambers. The weather is overcast, and wet surfaces on the street and pavement indicate recent precipitation. In the immediate foreground, to the right, is the corner of a multi-story grey stone building with multiple window openings boarded up with OSB panels. A black utility pole or signpost is fixed to this corner. The adjacent pavement, composed of grey flagstones, is wet, with some moss and grime visible at the base of the stone building. The street itself is made of dark, wet cobblestones and curves gently to the left before extending into the distance. A faded yellow line delineates the left edge of the street. Two blue vehicles are present: a dark blue Skoda Octavia sedan, with a partial UK license plate (LM14 YJB), is closer on the left, and a lighter blue hatchback is further down the street. To the left, a large, multi-story historic building, painted a distinct red, identified as Abbot House, features numerous white-framed sash windows and dark slate roofs with visible chimneys. A small group of 2-3 individuals is partially visible standing near the base of this red building. Further along the street, various buildings of traditional Scottish architecture line both sides, including several ground-level shopfronts, one displaying a sign that reads "The Sec...". Dominating the distant background is the Dunfermline City Chambers, a prominent stone structure characterized by a distinctive green-capped turret. A black, ornate street lamp fixture extends from an upper level of the grey foreground building.
