The image depicts a segment of a canal or river bank located in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria, under clear daytime conditions. The water, occupying the left and upper-left portions of the frame, exhibits surface ripples and reflects a bright sky and bare tree branches. The bank, sloping upwards from the water, consists of exposed soil, sparse green grass, and patches of dried, light-colored vegetation along the immediate waterline. Two dark-furred Myocastor coypus (coypus/nutria) are present on the bank. One coypu is positioned at the water's edge in the lower-left quadrant, oriented rightward and slightly away from the water, with its fur appearing wet. The second coypu is located further upslope and to the right of the first, situated on the grassy and earthen bank. This animal faces generally towards the water, with its dorsal aspect partially visible to the camera, indicating movement or repose on the slope. No other subjects or direct interactions are observed.
