This image depicts the Trevi Fountain, located in the Trevi district of Rome, Italy. The central focus is the monumental Baroque fountain facade, constructed from marble and travertine, observed under an overcast sky. The fountain's upper section features a large papal coat of arms belonging to Pope Clement XIII, flanked by two allegorical winged figures. Below this, a prominent Latin inscription, "CLEMENS XII PONT. MAX. AQUAM VIRGINEM COPIA ET SALUBRITATE COMMENDATAM CULTU MAGNIFICO ORNAVIT ANNO DOMINI MDCCXXXV PONTIF VI," is centered. The lower portion of the fountain features a central, large statue of Oceanus (or Neptune) standing on a shell-shaped chariot. He is surrounded by two winged hippocampi, one calm and one unruly, and tritons, which emerge from the rocky base of the fountain. Water cascades from multiple points within this rocky base, forming a visible waterfall into the unseen basin below. Scaffolding is partially visible on the building structure to the upper right, behind the fountain.
