The figures are carved from a lighter-colored stone set against a darker, reddish-brown background panel. The surrounding frame, constructed from yellowish-brown stone, includes an arched niche, two pilasters, a decorative scrolled pediment with an empty rectangular cartouche above the main scene, and a substantial base featuring an oval, dark-colored plaque or inscription area. The entire assembly is mounted against a plain, light-colored wall, illuminated from the upper left, casting distinct shadows and highlighting the sculptural depth.
