The upper two-thirds of the frame consist of a pale blue sky, densely covered with patterned altocumulus clouds and several faint linear contrails. Below the sky, a calm, light blue-green sea extends to the horizon, with the distinct landmass of Sveti Stefan island-hotel visible in the distance along the coastline. The foreground shows a gray metal guardrail with a yellowish top edge, running horizontally across the lower third of the image, indicating a road edge. The guardrail is supported by vertical metal posts anchored to an asphalt or concrete surface. To the right of the guardrail, several leafless deciduous trees with bare branches are visible on the hillside. Reflections on the viewing glass, indicative of being taken from within a vehicle, include the upper part of a person's long, light-colored hair in the upper-left quadrant and a faint reflection of a hand in the lower-center.
