An elevated view depicts a concrete drainage channel in La Paz, Bolivia, traversing a landscape marked by earthworks and vegetation. In the upper left quadrant, two parallel, dark-mouthed concrete culverts, integrated into a substantial concrete headwall, discharge a rapid flow of turbid, brownish-yellow water. This water travels approximately 15 meters along a concrete-lined section of the channel before dropping over a concrete weir, creating a waterfall estimated to be one meter in height. Below this weir, the water is extensively aerated, appearing white and foamy as it continues downstream within the concrete channel. Visible debris, including fragmented wooden structures, floats within the foamy water. To the immediate left of the concrete channel, an unpaved earthen track runs parallel, exhibiting disturbed soil and a small conical pile of sand near the culvert exits. Further along this track, towards the bottom right, a larger mound of loose earth and scattered fragmented wooden debris is present. The edge of the earthen track adjacent to the channel shows minor accumulations of loose material and what appears to be discarded construction remnants. To the right of the channel, a steep, unkempt hillside is covered with dry, sparse vegetation, including several tall trees, possibly eucalyptus, and various scrub bushes. Patches of exposed soil and scattered refuse are visible within this vegetated slope. No individuals are present within the frame.
