The image depicts an active construction site in Zango-ndaji, Nigeria. A rectangular excavation, approximately 2-3 meters deep, is present in reddish-brown soil. The pit's interior walls consist of exposed earth. Along the upper left edge of the pit, a stack of approximately 25 light-grey hollow concrete blocks is neatly arranged. Another small stack of two blocks is positioned further back. In the upper left background, a partially constructed wall made of similar concrete blocks is visible. Inside the excavated pit, at the bottom, a foundation course of approximately 14 light-grey hollow concrete blocks has been laid in an L-shaped configuration with an additional short straight section. A spirit level, orange and black in color, rests on one of these laid blocks. Scattered debris, including small fragments of concrete, a green plastic bottle, and a crumpled blue plastic bag, are present on the soil at the bottom of the pit. Displaced soil and rubble are visible around the perimeter of the excavation. No individuals are present in the scene.
