The image shows the Old Bahia Honda Bridge in Big Pine Key, United States. The bridge stretches into the distance under a cloudy sky. A sign attached to the bridge railing provides historical information: the bridge spans 5055 feet across the Bahia Honda Channel and was originally part of the East Coast Railway, built by Henry Flagler between 1905 and 1912. The road was built on top of the railway bridge in 1938 as part of the original Overseas Highway. The bridge was no longer in use after 1972. A yellow line is visible along the surface of the bridge. The railings are constructed of metal and concrete.
