San Bernardino TlaxcalancingoMexico

A snow-capped stratovolcano, identified as Popocatépetl, is observed under a clear blue sky, as seen from the vicinity of San Bernardino Tlaxcalancingo, Mexico. The volcanic peak is actively emitting a dense, gray plume of smoke and ash that rises vertically before dispersing horizontally towards the upper left. The upper slopes of the volcano are covered in white snow, with visible rocky ridges and crevices. A band of white, wispy clouds partially obscures the middle section of the volcano's snow-covered flanks. Below the snowline, the lower slopes display darker, rugged terrain, indicative of rock and sparse vegetation. No human subjects, man-made objects, or specific interactions are depicted within the frame beyond the natural volcanic activity and environment.
