An abandoned, multi-story building with significant structural and cosmetic decay stands in Ulcinj - Ulqin, Montenegro. The structure exhibits faded orange-peach colored facades with extensive peeling paint, exposing grey concrete and stone aggregate underneath. Numerous windows are broken or missing panes, and several ground-level openings are boarded with horizontal wooden planks. A prominent feature on the central facade, above a second-story window, is Cyrillic text in raised letters, reading "УПРАВА СОЛАНЕ У УЛЦИЊУ" (SALT PANS ADMINISTRATION IN ULCINJ). The building has a complex, multi-gabled roof with visible dormers and rusted, diamond-patterned roof tiles. Several small balconies with dark metal railings are present on the second floor, with overgrown vegetation emerging from them and from cracks in the facade. A dead, bare tree or large shrub grows from a second-floor balcony opening. In the foreground, centered directly in front of the building, a dark metallic bust of a male figure wearing a suit jacket and tie is mounted on a light-colored, fluted concrete pedestal. A rectangular plaque is visible on the front of the pedestal. The ground immediately surrounding the pedestal and extending to the building is covered in unkempt green grass and weeds, interspersed with small yellow and white flowers. A narrow strip of asphalt or concrete pavement is visible at the very bottom of the frame. The sky is overcast. No people or active interactions are present.
