The primary structure is built from large, dark grey or black stone blocks, characteristic of ancient masonry. A decorative parapet with a scalloped or crenellated pattern crowns the top edge of this lower structure. Rising prominently from behind this parapet is a square minaret constructed in the *ablaq* style, featuring distinct alternating horizontal bands of light grey/white and dark grey/black stone.
