Some fruits display concentric circular patterns at their base or tip, characteristic of the species. Minimal sparse, fine, light-colored vegetation is visible in the background between some cactus pads. Shadows cast by the spines and pads indicate direct sunlight. No people, discernible actions, or interactions are visible.
