The image depicts a large congregation performing Islamic prayer (*salat*) inside a mosque in Lhokseumawe, Indonesia. A significant number of individuals, estimated to be over one hundred, are visible from behind, arranged in rows across a brown tiled floor, all observed in the *sujud* (prostration) position. Their foreheads, hands, knees, and bare feet are in contact with the ground. The majority are adult males dressed in various colored long shirts and sarongs or trousers. At the front of the prayer hall, a male figure in a white garment stands near a prominent wooden minbar (pulpit) and an ornate arched mihrab (prayer niche), presumably leading the congregation as the Imam. The mosque interior features high, white walls adorned with decorative relief patterns, particularly around the mihrab. Large, white fluted columns support the ceiling. Two tall, antique-style grandfather clocks are visible on the side walls, one on the left and one on the right. Wall-mounted electric fans are also present for ventilation, and overhead lighting fixtures illuminate the space.
