An adult male is observed in a shallow, turbid body of water at the edge of a sandy bank in Kokani North, Nigeria. He has dark skin, short dark hair, and is wearing a light-colored, possibly striped, sleeveless top and dark blue shorts. The man is actively engaged in fishing, holding and manipulating a large, coarse-mesh fishing net attached to a long wooden pole. Several small, silver fish are visible in the muddy water near the net. To his right, two large, spherical, brown objects, consistent with gourds or buoys, float in the water; one displays a dark band and a dark scoop partially submerged in an opening. Green aquatic vegetation is scattered throughout the water and along the bank. The immediate foreground consists of disturbed light brown sandy soil, illuminated by bright daylight, casting visible shadows.
