The image is a text block against a solid pink background
MomentThe image is a text block against a solid pink background. The text describes why a lot at the end of Edmore Lane remains unbuilt. It's not due to zoning or soil issues, but because of a low, tuneless whistle heard at dusk, emanating from the tree line and moving from left to right. The sound is attributed to Old Cotter, a surveyor from the 1800s. He mapped the area but refused to record a specific parcel of land in his ledger, stating it "didn't want to be found." He died before anyone inquired why. The location is referenced as Edmore Lane.
