The image displays a sandy section of the Neman River in Hrodna, Belarus, populated by waterfowl. The foreground features a light brown sandy bank, marked with numerous small bird footprints. Approximately 25-30 birds are visible, primarily mallard ducks (Anas platyrhynchos) and at least three white swans (Cygnus olor). On the sandy bank, several mallard drakes, identified by their iridescent green heads and grey bodies, are present. One drake stands prominently in the lower-left quadrant, facing right, its orange webbed feet distinctly visible. Another drake is positioned in the mid-right foreground, facing left. Several other ducks, including mottled brown hens, are scattered on the sand and within the calm, reflective river water near the shore. Three white swans are observed; two float in the mid-ground water, and one is partially submerged closer to the sandy edge, all exhibiting white plumage and orange bills. The river surface is smooth with minimal ripples. The opposite bank is lined with a dense, leafless deciduous forest. Through the sparse tree line on the far bank, at least two light-colored structures, consistent with small residential buildings, are discernible. The sky above the distant horizon transitions from pale blue overhead to a soft orange-yellow hue near the horizon, indicative of either early morning or late afternoon lighting. No human presence or artificial objects are observed on the immediate riverbank or within the water.
