The scene depicts a winter landscape at the entrance of the Parc de la Mairie in Ifrane, Morocco. A paved road spans the lower foreground, bordered by a concrete curb. Adjacent to the curb, on the park side, are patches of dirty, melting snow. A light-colored car is partially visible on the far left of the road, and a person in dark attire walks on the pavement beside it, facing generally towards the right side of the frame. The park entrance features a low stone wall with a central archway enclosing a dark, decorative metal gate. Flanking this gate are two prominent dark-colored statues, each depicting a horse rearing on its hind legs. Beyond the wall and gate, the park ground is covered in muddy earth and sparse snow. Numerous tall, slender deciduous trees, mostly bare of leaves, dominate the midground and background, extending upwards to fill the majority of the frame. Many of these tree branches host visible clumps of mistletoe. An overcast, light grey sky is visible above the tree canopy. A dark-colored street lamp post is visible to the right of the right horse statue.
