This is a close-up, eye-level photograph of a berry-producing shrub, identified as being in Ustyvytsia, Ukraine. The plant features dense green foliage composed of ovate to elliptical leaves with smooth margins, arranged oppositely on slender stems. The stems are predominantly reddish-brown and woody at the base, transitioning to a lighter yellowish-green on newer growth. Numerous small, elongated, dark purplish-blue to black berries are scattered among the leaves, some appearing in pairs.
