In El Nayar, Mexico, a close-up, high-angle photograph captures a dense proliferation of white bougainvillea
In El Nayar, Mexico, a close-up, high-angle photograph captures a dense proliferation of white bougainvillea. The image is dominated by numerous clusters of white, papery bracts, typically arranged in groups of three, surrounding small, inconspicuous light green to pale yellow flowers. Prominent green stamens extend from the center of these flowers. Some bracts display a faint pinkish tint along their edges. Dark green bougainvillea leaves are visible among the blossoms, and darker, possibly reddish-brown foliage is present in the lower portion of the frame. The background consists of out-of-focus green vegetation and shadowed areas, with a narrow strip of dark, textured ground or paved surface visible along the right edge. No individuals or animate subjects are depicted.
