MomentThe image displays a ground-level view of the Stari Most (Old Bridge) in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, looking upwards along its stone-stepped path towards the Halebija Tower. The bridge's walking surface consists of irregular, light-colored stone blocks arranged as shallow steps. Concrete-like stone walls flank the pathway, topped by a metal railing featuring vertical bars and pointed finials. At the apex of the bridge's visible ascent stands the Halebija Tower, a prominent, multi-story stone building with a gabled, dark-tiled roof and multiple small, dark-framed windows. To the immediate left of the tower, a smaller, dark-roofed building is partially visible. Approximately five individuals are positioned near the top of the bridge, in front of the Halebija Tower. They are dressed in dark clothing; one individual on the far left appears to be standing alone, while a small group of two or three is gathered further right. The scene is under a clear, bright blue sky with minimal clouds. Direct sunlight from an elevated position on the right casts distinct, elongated shadows across the steps and the left side of the bridge structure. In the distant background to the left, hazy mountain or hill ranges are visible. To the right of the Halebija Tower, a white church steeple with a red roof protrudes into the sky. A small flock of dark birds is captured in flight above and to the right of the Halebija Tower. A robust, block-like stone pillar forms part of the bridge's base on the far right.
