This image displays the Fourth Station of the Cross, located within the city of Jos, Nigeria. The central subject is an outdoor, weathered concrete or stucco bas-relief sculpture housed in an arched alcove. The relief depicts two figures: Jesus, carrying a brown cross diagonally across his left shoulder, facing right, and Mary, facing left in a hooded garment, reaching towards Jesus's outstretched arm.
