The scene, located in Barakin Akawo, Nigeria, depicts a static arrangement of traditional artifacts illuminated by a strong red light source. Centrally positioned on a large, circular woven mat is a tall, ovoid, woven basket made of natural fibers, possibly raffia, containing multiple dried grasses or feathers extending upwards from its opening. To the left of the basket, resting on the mat, is a light-colored, elongated gourd object with a rounded top and a slender stem. To the right of the basket, also on the mat, is a similar light-colored, elongated gourd object; faint markings "QOO" are visible on its upper surface. Between the two gourd objects and in front of the basket lies a handled object topped with a dense cluster of reddish-orange fibrous material or feathers, resembling a whisk. The background is dark and indistinct, with a horizontal lighter strip visible, possibly a shelf or ledge. No individuals are present.
